Sulilaran School – Funding Needed

Sulilaran Primary School’s 122 students are being taught in open shacks and falling down buildings. There are no toilets.  They need a new 4 classroom and teachers’ room building, 5 toilets, a water connection and furniture.  This will cost US$60,000 – approx A$90,000.

The fabulous Raise it Up Party in Perth raised $34,250 to build this school. The rest of the funds were provided by the families, individuals and groups which are Spend it Well’s donors.  Construction was started in April 2024 and should be finished by September.

The 2nd Raise it Up Party on February 16 was a huge success, raising $34,250 towards the building of Sulilaran School.

In keeping with the Spend it Well ethos of no donor money being spent on administrative costs – 100% of amount raised on the night will go directly to the school construction costs. This was made possible by the generosity of the people and companies who donated food, alcohol, equipment and time so that the event was run at no cost to Spend it Well.
